The EU-backed financing package will provide support to households, SMEs, and women-led businesses. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has provided TEB Banka Kosova with a financing package of up to €21 million to expand access to green, digital, and inclusive finance in Kosovo.
The agreement was signed by TEB Bank Managing Director Cihan YILMAZ, Deputy Managing Director Deniz Tor, and Sergiy Maslichenko, Head of EBRD in Kosovo.
This financing will enable households and businesses to invest in energy-efficiency and renewable-energy solutions, while helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) adopt green technologies, digitize operations, and introduce automated processes. It will also increase access to finance and knowledge for women-led businesses.
Cihan Yilmaz, Managing Director of TEB Banka, said: “At TEB Banka Kosovo, we are committed to supporting the sustainable growth and competitiveness of the Kosovo economy. This new financing package with the EBRD represents an important opportunity to help reduce energy costs, enable businesses to invest in green and digital transformation, and further strengthen support for women entrepreneurs. We believe that investments in sustainability, digitalization and inclusion are essential for long-term economic development and resilience. As a long-standing partner of the EBRD, we are proud to continue to contribute to Kosovo’s transition towards a greener, more digital and more inclusive economy, creating new opportunities for growth and success for our clients across all sectors.”
