TEB Bank and International Finance Corporation sign the continuation of the agreement for small and medium enterprises!
The support of Kosovan businesses from this agreement includes all small and medium-sized enterprises, agribusinesses and those from the Women's Entrepreneurship Program.
TEB Bank and the Financial Institution of the World Bank, IFC, have reached a cooperation agreement within the framework of risk sharing, to support lending to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), including those in the Agribusiness sector and women entrepreneurs in particular.
In the framework of this program, TEB has provided assistance for access to funds for medium and small enterprises and various non-financial services for raising the capacities of this profile of businesses.
The managing director of TEB Bank, Orcun Ozdemir, said that TEB Bank will continue to offer appropriate support as previously for SMEs and especially for Women Entrepreneurs.
IFC as a member of the World Bank is the largest global private sector development institution, operating in more than 100 countries with capital, expertise and influence in developing countries.
Alfonso Garcia Mora, vice president for Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean within the group of financial institutions in IFC, highly appreciated the cooperation between TEB Bank and IFC, saying that entrepreneurs are the backbone of Kosovo's economy and that expanding access to finance and improving the know-how of SME’s is crucial for the country.
