All resident and non-resident citizens of Kosovo can open a bank account by visiting one of the TEB Bank branches in Kosovo.

The information and documents required for opening a bank account are:

  •   Proof of residential address (not older than 6 months),
  •   Identification document: ID or passport,
  •   Information on the reason for opening the account.
  • Proof of residential address (not older than 6 months).

*If you live on rent, you must also present the lease contract.

   *If you do not live on rent but the house belongs to a family member, a statement must be made for the owner who is mentioned in the invoice to confirm that the client lives there.

The account holder can provide the family certificate, obtained from the municipality to prove the relationship between the owner of the house / apartment and the account holder or obtain a written statement from the owner of the apartment / house stating that the client lives in his / her house and the same statement must be signed by the owner.

The documents required for opening a children’s savings account are:

  • Parent’s ID: ID or passport,
  • Proof of residential address (not older than 6 months),
  • Birth certificate / birth extract of the child’s birth, original document accompanied by the stamp and signature of the municipal authorities not older than 6 months.
  • ID (if the client is 16 years old) and birth certificate / birth extract not older than 6 months.

Through a current account you can perform all types of banking transactions, you can make transfers, deposits / withdrawals and other payments.

When opening a current account, you can be provided with a debit card, which enables you to:

  • withdraw money from your bank account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through the TEB ATMs network and any other ATMs inside and outside Kosovo
  • making payments at all POS terminals, inside and outside Kosovo.

You can open accounts at TEB Bank in four currencies: EUR, USD, CHF and GBP.

The authorizer and the person authorized in the account must be present at TEB Bank branch with a valid identification document and proof of residential address.

The process of updating the data is a process which is done to update / review the personal information of our clients. In TEB Bank, this process is done in compliance to the bank’s procedures and applicable laws in Kosovo.

In order for your account to be functional, updating the data is a necessary process, if this process is not completed, the bank reserves the right to block the client’s accounts.

  • After you receive the invitation to review the data, if you go to the bank for a service and the bank employee asks you to complete this process in case your data were changed, such as phone number, address, employer, etc.
  • Also, if you receive a phone call to update the data.

The required documents that the bank employee may require, in case they are missing in the client’s profile of the bank’s system or if a document has expired, are:

You must have a monthly income of at least 200 EUR in order to be able to apply for a loan.

To process your request,  you need to fill in an application form and, sign it in the offices of our branches

when applying for a loan, an employment contract, lease or any other income, copy of a valid personal

document (ID / passport or driving license) and the bank account statement of last 6 months (only

in case you receive incomes in another bank) are required.  In case any other document is required later on, we will

contact you.

The amount of loan depends on several factors that are mainly related to your income, credit worthiness,

loan term and the maximum amount that the Bank offers for this type of loan.

The minimum amount you can apply for a loan is 250 EUR.

The maximum duration is determined by the bank based on the amount and your financial capacity, with the purpose of defining a longer term for large amounts, as it happens with mortgage loans, while for other loans that have small amounts, the loan term is shorter, always deciding together with you, in compliance with the credit policies of the bank and your financial capacity.

Yes, you can close the loan before the deadline, the request for closing must be made in the offices of our bank.
